Chena's "other" family

Yesterday, I loaded Chena and Charley up in the truck and we embarked on a journey to meet Chena's dad and half-brother. Ok, ok, it wasn't exactly a journey as it was only an hour ride, but we did get to meet her "other" family.

Our breeder that we got Chena from let us know that Taz, Chena's father, was going to be in the area, so I set up a meeting with Taz's owner. The owner shows her dogs and we were able to catch her in between shows. When we met her, we were surprised to see another dog besides Taz. Ducks, we found out, is from another litter that Taz had, so that makes he and Chena half-siblings.

Surprisingly, we got them to sit still on these steps long enough to snap a few pictures, thanks to the words "treat" and "ball." I picked out a couple that I liked. (Although, it really was hard to choose.....all you dog lovers know what I mean!) The first picture is of Chena, Ducks, Taz (l-r). The second is a classic picture of Chena's "aggravated" face (curling her lips), and the third is a closeup of Chena.
