In the Spirit of Christmas, I have to post these pictures. Think Christmas with the Kranks. (Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis play empty-nesters who decide to not celebrate Christmas. The whole neighborhood/town is in an uproar over this. No Christmas cards, no Christmas ham, and no Frosty!!!) The city of Anchorage is pulling its own CWTK and being a total Scrooge! They said this city's resident could not appear this year. Only, he magically appeared overnight! Woohoo!!
In honor of Snowzilla, I am posting my scrapbook pages from the year of its birth (2005). Pictured by the snowman are myself, Kristen (niece) and Drew (nephew). My mama is the one behind the camera. It was so much fun to see!! Incredible how he has grown over the years. *Sniffle* He was 16 feet in my pictures and now he is over 25 feet. Wow!! People do come from all over just to see it.
From what I remember the street was crowded, but not too crazy. It's not on a main artery of town. Get in the spirit of things, Ciy of Anchorage!! Instead of fining the guy, why not market it and make money off of Snowzilla! People will come, pay to have that keychain, the city will make money and Mr. Powers can pay off his debt!
